Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Download the App Open your phone’s app store. Search for "Tuya" or "Smart Life" and download the app.

Step 2: Connect to Wi-Fi Ensure your phone is connected to your local 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: If your router supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz, temporarily disable the 5GHz network to ensure connection to 2.4GHz.

Step 3: Set Up Tuya Account Open the Tuya or Smart Life app. Create a new account or log in. Navigate to 'Add Device' and select 'Lighting Devices'. Follow the app instructions to confirm the device.

Step 4: Easy Mode or AP Mode To connect the device, press the on/off button 5 times. Choose between 'Easy Mode' or 'AP Mode' as prompted by the app.

Important Tips: Always use a 2.4GHz WiFi network for setup. Make sure your WiFi is detectable. For router settings, use WPA2-PSK encryption and AES authentication. If experiencing connection issues, disable the 5GHz network temporarily through your router settings (accessed via the router IP in a web browser).
